Detonox is a non-caustic detergent for exceptional removal of botanical, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical polymers, sticky extracts, resins, creams and lotions. Concentrated, highly emulsifying and penetrating formula is free rinsing, and leaves no residues.

Used to remove: Cosmetic bases and formulations, organics, grease, tars, sticky extracts, resins, waxes, fats, oils, titanium and zinc oxides, ointments and lotions.
Surfaces cleaned: Recommended for glass, stainless steel, PTFE, ceramic, cement and solvent resistant plastics and metals. Corrosion testing is advisable.
Cleaning method: Soak, circulate under immersions, ultrasonic cleaners, and manual cleaning.
Clean with a fresh 1 – 5% solution (2 ½ tbsp – 12 ½ tbsp/US gal, 1 ¼ – 6 ¼ oz./US gal. or 10–50 ml/L) in cold, warm, or hot water. Rinse thoroughly; for food contact surfaces, use potable water. Not for spray machines, will foam. For difficult soils, raise water temperature and use more detergent. Elevation of temperature is true under most circumstances. Check with Alconox, LLC for use of hot water if products contain Titanium Oxide (TiO) or Zinc Oxide (ZnO) as they are notable exceptions to heat expediting detergency.
