CUSTOMER ADVISORY!

We have heard that some Alconox customers may believe that Alconox brand cleaners are no longer available. This is not true.

Alconox Cleaners are available, in stock , and ready to order. They are NOT OUT OF STOCK, NOT DISCONTINUED, and CONTINUE TO BE A STRONG VALUE.

These cleaners are and have been widely available through a large number of stocking, promoting dealers, many have increased their stocking levels to support customers’ product demands.

Do Not Except Substitutes – to guarantee that you get the Alconox product that you ordered, make sure you specify “no substitutions” on your orders.

1. For more than 60 years, researchers have trusted their results to Alconox cleaners. Alconox, Inc. supplies laboratory cleaners all over the world with the broadest choice of distribution, the best value, and the best technical support. Need help in locating a dealer? In order to help our customers best achieve their purchasing goals, we give our dealers the flexibility to set the price and stocking requirements for Alconox critical cleaning products. Various dealers may change their stocking practices from time to time. Please note: Alconox products are NOT DISCONTINUED and NOT OUT OF STOCK at the manufacturer, they are readily available through a nationwide roster of stocking laboratory supply dealers (see list below). Non-stocking or non-promoting dealers may start charging freight direct from the manufacturer rather than sourcing from a local stocking location – they may even try to substitute other cleaners for the Alconox products you want to order. If you believe that your regular Alconox dealer has stopped stocking Alconox, you may wish to confirm this with the dealer and make sure they can supply you adequately before seeking another Alconox dealer. It simply may be that the dealer has changed catalog numbers for our products (see new Fisher Scientific catalog numbers below). You may need to call your dealer and order using the new catalog numbers. Alconox products have unmatched specifications and outstanding emulsifying capacity, making them the preferred cleaning product by laboratories everywhere.

ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES: substitutes maybe new brands with no track record.
These new brands will not have been specified in government
procedures, lab accreditation guidelines, or literature
references, to say nothing of your internal validations,
qualifications or ISO procedures. Even though new knock-off
substitutes may be offered, you should carefully evaluate if
these can possible work as well and offer the consistent
value of the jAlconox cleaners that have been trusted for
over 60 years. Replacing purchasing requests for Alconox
with another cleaner can be a costly mistake. You may wind
up paying more for your cleaners and may have problems complying
with any validations, specifications, ISO standards, government
procedures for accreditation, qualifications or literature
referenced cleaning procedures that call for the use of

3. Why Purchasing Professionals Prefer Alconox

Alconox detergent brands have been the preferred scientific cleaner in laboratory and critical cleaning for more than 60 years. Alconox brand cleaners are commonly specified by scientists and engineers all over the world. Why? CATALOG NUMBER CHANGE AT FISHER SCIENTIFIC

-The Fisher Scientific catalog numbers for Alconox brand cleaners may be changed: the old numbers started with “04,“ and the new numbers start with “50.“ When looking to order Alconox from Fisher Scientific, you may see or hear an indication that the product is discontinued – Note: We have not discontinued our manufacture of these excellent products (Fisher Scientific may just have “discontinued” the catalog number for the Alconox cleaner). We still supply and are receiving orders for our cleaners from Fisher. Fisher may only supply direct from us. To order from Fisher we understand you need to use the new “50” series catalog numbers, otherwise they will try to substitute or say the product is discontinued. See the table below. See the table below for the old and new Fisher catalog numbers plus VWR and Cardinal numbers for the Alconox cleaners.

-We price Alconox brand cleaners to offer the best consistent value to our customers. Unlike new substitute cleaners, Alconox brand cleaners have been tested and approved and are widely specified in government and professional procedures and methods for cleaning. Other new substitute cleaners may not be suitable.
